THE AGBU ARCHIVES

The archives of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) represent a major resource for the study of AGBU and other philanthropic organizations’ activities for the welfare of and in aid of Armenian orphans and refugees after the Great War, and particularly in the 1920s.

We will soon make available in this section a selection of AGBU archival material including correspondence from the organization’s Paris based headquarters in the 1920s and minutes of Central Board meetings during the interwar period.
